Central Station coach stops are changing

From Saturday 22 April 2017, the coach stops on Eddy Avenue at Central Station are relocating as part of the CBD and South East Light Rail project.

Coaches previously operating from Eddy Avenue at Central Station will relocate to the Western Forecourt. The existing Pitt Street coach and bus operations, including coach bays and coach operator ticket offices, will not be affected and will continue to operate as normal.

Both planned and emergency Sydney Trains rail replacement buses and NSW Trainlink rail replacement coaches will also use the Western Forecourt.

The Sydney Coach Terminal Office will be relocated inside the Grand Concourse. The office will continue to sell tickets, collect departure fees and provide customer information, and will be located next to customer storage facilities.

Car parking in the Western Forecourt area will also change with limited parking available and areas reserved for ‘Kiss & Ride’, accessible parking, taxi zones and loading zones.

Signs will be in place with directions to the new coach and bus facilities. Temporary wayfinding staff will also be available to assist you with directions. Maps will also be available from these staff, from the Transport Information desk at Central Station or you can download a PDF copy of the map (pdf 758kB).
